A twenty one (21) year old female was arrested by a Reaction Officer as she attempted to flee the scene of a stabbing in Tongaat - KZN this afternoon.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was called out to clothing factory on Bhoola Road after a man was stabbed in the neck. A responding Reaction Officer apprehended a female fleeing the scene.

It was established that both the female suspect & the male victim were previously in a relationship and employed at the same factory. During an argument regarding a work issue, the man threw a can of energy drink at the female who then stabbed him in the neck with a cotton clipper.

The man was expedited to a medical facility.
